LEARN A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME!
Hi!
I'm a content creator and marketing strategist in the Denver-Metropolitan area with 4 years of experience in the field. I specialize in content creation, marketing strategy, internal communications and have spent 2 years working in-house on marketing efforts for local and global companies in the technology & security sector.
I found a passion for marketing in the technology sector through my love for politics, social media, and my drive to get my JD in corporate communications law. Before attending law school in the next 5-7
years I want to be in a position where I can use my creativity, written communication and research skills to produce content that works to make technical content fun and easily digestible for clients and customers – similarly to how corporate lawyers take complex legal policies and makes it digestible for their clients.
I specialized in communications at the City and County of Denver Government, where I found my love for communications and content creation in the technology sector.
At the city I worked hand in hand with C-suite executives to execute and create communications plans that aligned with company goals. One of the city's goals was to increase their cybersecurity training completion rates and policy awareness among employees. I was able to take on ownership of that role, where I worked directly with the Information Governance Committee to create a security policy and procedures communications plan.
Through this role, I found a passion for taking highly technical policy, products, and procedures and making them digestible for the average, non-technical person. Unfortunately, despite the success of my communications plan and campaigns, when the COVID pandemic hit I was laid off from the city due to budget. I knew I wanted to continue doing communication, strategy, and content creation in the technology sector which lead me to CyberGRX, where I'm currently contracted on the content marketing management team.
I manage social media, write and edit content, create social media strategy, conduct research and work in tandem with the digital marketing manager to prioritize SEO in our content. CyberGRX has been the perfect stepping stone for me to continue to grow my passion for security and technology communications, but upon the ending of my contract in March, I'm exploring the market for a more permanent position doing similar work.
