CyberGRX
Content Creation and Management
*Only 4 pages of the plan are shown below to keep company information and strategy private
During my first month on the Content Marketing Team at CyberGRX I was able to create the company's first comprehensive social media plan. The plan was created with the goal of leveraging social media to support CyberGRX's goals of increasing website traffic, leads, and establishing themselves and an influencer in the IT and Cybersecurity space.
I presented the plan to the marketing team and took over social media in the following month with the goal of executing the plan. Within the first month, we saw a shift in our main audience from business professionals to IT and Security managers. The plan is still being put to use and out team is collecting data from it.
Social Media Strategy
Social Media & Website Content
During my time at CyberGRX I created content for our blogs, website, social media, and podcast. I created graphics, video content, wrote and edited copy, and produced the company podcast. Here are a few samples from all of that work!
City and County of Denver
Cybersecurity and Data Protection
During my time at the City and County of Denver, I specialized in Cybersecurity and Data Protection communication. My main project was creating a strategic communications plan to present to executive leadership on my research and campaign ideas. Above are the slides to that presentation, where I explain problem-based solution framework from PEAK academy that we used to inform our plan.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and my layoff I was not able to see the project through to the video, however, I created a script and budget alongside or municipal TV station, the Mayor's Office, the Information Governance Committee and Marketing and Media Services that will be implemented when city budget allows, following the pandemic recovery plan.

Employee Communications
Internal Communications Campaign Manager
During my time at the City and County of Denver, I worked on Internal Employee Communications. My main project consisted of creating graphics, running a live, bi-weekly executive news broadcast, event planning, producing a podcast, and running targeted email campaigns.
Above you can see some of the work I created during my time working with the IT department's "Women in Tech" initiative, for the executive news broadcast promotional campaign, a process graphic for the IT departments web design re-haul that I did, and an infographic I created to encourage employees to submit videos for our virtual 15 year anniversary party.
Another part of my Internal Communications position at the City and County of Denver was producing the podcast featured above, Byte-Sized Tech Tales. The aim of the podcast was to boost employee engagement and awareness of city projects by educating them through fun, short interviews. The two above were done by my colleague, Ben Danile, and I in conjunction with the 2020 Census team and the City of Denver's 311 nonemergency department.
All That! Dance Co.
Social Media Intern
I was brought on as a Social Media and Media Relations Intern at All That! Dance Co. during their Page to Stage Performance. I was asked to come up with a social media strategy to promote the performance, so I created Facebook posts, graphics, and videos. I collaborated with a local photographer and 50+ dancers from the company to produce the video linked above. The video made 2.1k impressions, the most that a video campaign by the company has ever seen.
From Page to Stage Campaign Manager
Nutcracker Remixed Campaign Manager
After working on the Page to Stage campaign, I was asked to work on Media Relations for the company's annual Christmas performance, The Nutcracker Remixed. I made press releases and media advisories that lead to the company's performance being featured on local news, newspapers, and community calendars. The show sold out at the city's largest venue, the Hult Center.
University of Oregon Campaigns Manager
During my three years at the University of Oregon, I joined the Journalism and Communication School, where I was able to work on campaigns with local companies focused on strategy, graphic design, and video. I lead teams of 6 in research on industry best practices, and we implemented those standards into the plans we created. I also took specialized courses in InDesign and Adobe Premier to further advance my digital content creation skills.
